Some people enjoy music, others prefer podcasts. The UL podcast is our harmony in nature, the invisible music for your adventure. But if you're lucky, you can hear the wind flirting with the 0.8 mm thick Dyneema fabric, just like the rustle of spring leaves. And given the abundance of leaves here in Umeå, where we create this minimalist gem, it's like having an extra nature experience!

When developing the UL podcast, we had a few clear goals in mind. First of all, it had to be one of the lightest pods of its kind, in terms of size. Secondly, it had to be robust enough to be lifted out of the backpack without damage. It would also fit in most backpacks. Finally, we wanted it to be easy to use, so that you can smoothly pull your stuff out without having to struggle with the material. The solution was a handle at the top, like our Packing Pod, along with a drawstring and a narrower rolltop closure. The dimensions of the pod show about 9.5 liters but when you close the roll-top you get between 7.5-8 liters, so count on it. We have tested and most of the lighter three-season sleeping bags and quilts offered can fit in it.
